The ALLPH@ Doctoral School covers doctoral programmes at Midi-Pyrénées in the arts (theatre and dance, film, music, applied and visual arts), world literatures, modern foreign languages (English, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Polish), philosophy and information and communication studies (ED 328).

It is part of two higher education institutions in Toulouse:
The Université de Toulouse - Le Mirail and the Université Paul Sabatier.

The ALLPH@ Doctoral School is co-accredited with the UPS.
ALLPH@ requires its doctoral students to study through and for research.

The skills used and acquired within the Doctoral School include understanding, analysing and producing multicultural forms of human creativity and making them the subject of theoretical writing and media attention in order to give them their full meaning in society.
Doctoral students are human resources for understanding the scientific and technological world of tomorrow, analysing the arts and culture and inventing new communication strategies.
